as of monday i was at 212 due to taking whey protein. i feel tighter.
so i really dislike holidays. i really dislike being down in the dumps. i really dislike being broke. i really dislike not having enough money to pay bills. i really dislike a lot of the meaningless parts of life. i do enjoy the new puppy. i enjoy friends being around to help cheer me up. but i just feel like shit and can't be as stoked on everything as i was before.
such as life.

so life in general is really awesome...more content than ever....granted i'm living paycheck to paycheck and skimming by with bills and having a cold...nonetheless cards have been dealt my way with friends by my side and life stories that can be told for ages to come. the past month has been really great. here are a few stories for recollection. My neighbor Rob has had a few tumors growing, its a real bummer but we've all been there for him cheering him on in his recovery. after his first surgery we all went to visit him at the hospital. which consisted of us playing games as to which elevator would open first on the ground floor with other families in serious situations waiting as well...it was really a funny concept when i look at it in retrospect a goofy looking kid waiting at each elevator laughing and joking with his friends while a mother and daughter stand in disgust at us waiting....joe had the right elevator to start. after that we get up stairs and visit with rob. while the doctor was talking to him they asked for us to wait outside where stew
decided to play foam wars with the hand sanitizer foams outside of each door. this concluded to him throwing a handful of foam into a strangers room. having robs mom in a state of embarrassment and question as to why we were there. that following weekend we had our 2nd pot luck at the penalty box jr. house which went really well we played black out hide and seek between both houses as well as a bonfire and some kick ass delicious food made by all of our good friends. so fast forward to a week later we get a call from bobby inviting us to go to his work to watch some of the best professional skaters shred it up in his works skate park. it was the baker skate team as well as deathwish i believe. but i've never been to the place and it was a cool skate park/screenprinting company.

the following week rob returned to the penalty box and we caught word that the beastie boys would be speaking at the college up the street about the upcoming election we were really amped on it,in hope of maybe seeing them perform a song or so since none of us could afford the tickets to there show that night...since tickets were going on ebay for 200+ bucks. needless to say we waited for about 3 or so hours walking around campus waiting for it to start...we toured the trojan condom bus and gave a shout out as dan and smith a gay couple that supported protected sex in defense agains butt pregnancies. after that rob taunted the crazy preacher on
campus with a condom and he was almost hit with a bible. after waiting three hours to see the 5 boroughs speak it lasted about 3 mins. still was an awesome day. that
night we went back to the campus for a halloween show with free food and such. yardwork played and i got some cool photos, there are a few posted here and there on this blog. so yeah i've totally been enjoying life here at the penalty box collective and loving everything about life. we saw a band from Sweden play at lunch box last week as well as having an intense wall of death over the topic of pizza vs tacos as to which is the ultimate party food....Tacos won...
this past friday i also got to see an old friend get married to the love of his life and walk down the aisle to halloween by the misfits. after the wedding i tagged along with izzi and rick to rock hill this weekend to enjoy all hallow's eve i dressed as michael douglas from falling down. it went over well. rick was death metal and izzi was hello kitty. we ended up at a shitty house show where we got free things and spewed blood tablets all over the ceiling. good times.
thats about all thats been going on in my life right now. constantly busy constantly pursuing the life of community and happiness. more to come soon. no shave november is going on right now. i'll prob start taking daily picture to show how gross my neck beard is growing and how i really cannot grow facial hair in the first place.....more to post soon.

over the moat
well its been a while, i've been settled into my house for a while now. Lifes been going great i've been enjoying my job and loving my roommates and neighbors more and more everyday. never a dull moment at work or at home always someone to hang out with talk to or have any social interaction at all.
last weekend we had a party for katrina and garret's 21st birthday, needless to say it was great it consisted of me surprising everyone with showing when i should have been at work. we had a lot of people over lots of alcohol food and friends. the best of life pretty much. i've been working crazy weird hours at work, like 30 to 40 hours in 3 days. tonight im staying up all night due to i have work in 4 hours so i'm just long hauling it until 8 so i can get to work on time and involve my self with this
oh am i so excited about being completly under slept and in such great heat with oh so great company. but its alright. after that i'm spending time with my family. ALSO i bought a rat a few days ago...i named him gonzo, but gonzo had a thirst for blood and bit me on the first day, so today i bought a 2nd rat to give him company so he would be nicer...but no he tried to kill the new guy. so now i returned him and got 2 new rats.
meet guybrush threepwood and rusty shackleforth. they are my new friends whom i care for. well thats pretty much my life in a nutshell over the past month or so.
oh yeah, i got some of my photos published places, you can see some of em in this magazine.
and you can buy this record from sorrystate other than i got my pic on the cover its a ripping good album and you should pick up a logic problem 7" while your at it.

4th of july ruled

4th of july was really awsome. i worked on the third and came up to my parents house to hang out with some relatives that flew in from California and Washington. after sitting in traffic for a couple of hours i finally made it to my parents house. we had a huge fucking dinner of cross cultures. my mom made lasagna and uncle bobby and lana made some fucking rad enchiladdas. shortly after we all headed to the local YMCA for

"could you take on the world?" she asked. the world...the world you say? we weren't even trying to leave our front porches. more less take on the world. it was the summer of 2006, we were angry loud and rambunctious. nothing could hold us down. we were free that summer. and there was nothing and no one that could stop us from having fun. it was the peak of our life. for some of us, it was the beginning of our life. we had just finished highschools and know one had a clue as to what we were going to do with our lives, and honestly i dont think any of us really cared. this was our summer and that was what we were going to do with our lives. live it...live it like there was nothing after the end of july. the rest of us were just enjoying the friends and companionship of others among the group, excited about there future into hell.
needless to say this summer all started when my parents were out of town for a week. me being freshly out of highschool meant they could travel the country and leave me at home to care for the house. they promised a house full of groceries so i could survive the week, the day they leave i opened the fridge and was left with 2 condiments and 7 packs of ramen. so i did what any hungry man would do. invite everyone he knew for a house party/bbq. it went over well i ate for a few days off of what was brought. along with a few people decided to stay the entire week after the party.....
fuck i miss that summer...those friends....that time.....care free...nothing to lose....those were my salad days....those were the memories i hold on to forever. the friends that even when they have moved states away or even right up the street it will never be as close as we were then. we all grew our seperate ways. new friends new times. its ritualistic in life i think to have this cycle of friends that at some point they all grow out of that part of there life and move on. and the wheel falls off...a few stick around but so many leave.
to answer the question that was asked....no we could never take on the world, but we sure as hell tried our hardest to. all we did was dent it with our destruction. quickly erased, vanished, moved on....its now as if the world never even recognized the mischief and destruction we actually did.....no one else will ever no....but us few....we will never forget..
